When I'm at my best, I try to live this attitude. I'll try to slip a bit of artistic flourish into whatever I make. I try to make the thing have a bit of "me" in it if I can.
I enjoy pushing things to their limit because of this. Seeing how far I can take an idea with only what I currently have on hand. Trying to squeeze the most out of systems.
It's rarely "efficient" in a capitalist sense, but it's a hell of a lot of fun.
