I have a really hard time dealing with people who don't have self-soothing skills.
When I vent, it's kind of a way to think out loud and work through my issues. I vent to self-sooth. I can't handle people who vent in a more ruminating way. Like, don't dump shit on me if it won't actually help you feel better in the process. Why are you rehashing this with me if it only makes you more upset?
