I feel like there's a good sci-fi story with this idea at its root.
Maybe this quantum decision making allows for phenomena to happen that no one has ever seen before, simply because no one has ever thought to try it.
Something like it turns out if there are enough versions of you in the universe, maybe you can communicate to other versions of you. See the future. Travel to the past. Be immortal. Be conscious of every version of yourself just like in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
