The entire premise of the Subspace Rhapsody episode, if true, would present a lot of fascinating metaphysical questions about the nature of reality.
Where does the music come from? Who or what composes the melody? Is singing voluntary, and if not, what _exactly_ is *making* people sing? How/why is everyone in tune? etc...
It's kind of funny that everyone was just like, "damn, that was weird" instead of losing their goddamn mind like I would lol
