I think maybe it's a case of my body mixing up correlation and causation.
Often when I'm doing "nothing" I'm in a specific configuration: sitting on a certain couch, in a sort of meditative cross-legged sitting position. I often close my eyes, completing the sense of meditation.
The thing is, that actually works in the morning, when my ADHD stims and caffeine are in full effect. I'm calm and content, often thinking deeply about something. I'm *not* bored.
