Like, I was planning on visiting my mom this weekend, but there's no way I can there and back without charging my car at least once. Wouldn't be an issue if I could hop on a train, but such a thing doesn't exist.
And it's not like I'm expecting to be able to get off at a stop next to her house or something. Just at least get close enough she can pick me up without too much hassle. There's not an Amtrak station within a hundred miles of her.
