The thing is though, just because the universe might not have an obvious purpose, that doesn't mean your life has no purpose.
This is the entire point of existentialism: "no ultimate purpose" is just another way to say "you can do whatever the fuck you want."
You get to define your life's purpose. You get to decide what has meaning and what doesn't. There's no wrong choice.
