My particular flavor of neurodivergence makes me too passive for my own good. My mood and interests tend to align to my environment, rather than the other way around.
That works well when I'm in the right environment, but at home I have too much control over the environment. It becomes a positive feedback loop; my mood and interests become aligned to an environment that is shaped by my mood and interests. I trap myself in an intellectual prison of my own making.
