I was listening to Sean Carroll's most recent Mindscape podcast where he was talking to Cari Cesarotti about her research efforts into making a muon-muon particle collider and I got some of the old drive to get involved with science again. It's a good listen, if physics is your jam:

Anyway, she was talking about how Fermilab would likely be the place for such a new collider and it was like a dagger of ice into my heart.
