I think the issue is that my brain has classified work as an "important, but not urgent" (IBNU) task. As in, yeah, I know I need to do my job, but my particular job is extremely unstructured and I work from home. There have been days when I've done absolutely nothing work related and no one noticed or cared.
I know it's important to make progress on work stuff, but there's zero sense of urgency, so my ADHD brain just forgets about it.
