Just had a daydream that I found hilarious: when we finally come up with a theoretical framework for what intelligence is and how to make it from scratch, it is conclusively proven that capitalism is antithetical to intelligence.
As in, because of the fetish with efficiency, predictability, and growth, the incentives of a capitalist enterprise will always be in the direction of inhibiting intelligence rather than fostering it, and so any attempt at building an AI in that environment will fail.
